We’re supporting an urgent defence and space programme and are looking for an experienced Program Systems Integration Lead to join the team on a contract basis in El Segundo, California.

This is an immediate requirement supporting high-profile national security space programmes.

The Role

You’ll lead systems integration activities across complex defence and space programmes, providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams while working closely with government stakeholders and programme leadership.

The role involves overseeing systems engineering activities throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring successful integration across ground and space systems.

Due to customer security requirements, this position is fully onsite in a secure facility.

Required Experience

• Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline
• 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• 10+ years leading multidisciplinary technical teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams)
• Ability to work onsite in a secure facility

Desirable Experience

• PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or another technical discipline
• Experience supporting MILSATCOM programmes, including:
• AEHF
• PTS
• EPS
• WGS
• FAB-T terminal programmes
• Experience working with military personnel and DoD civilians
• Experience with ground and space systems, including terminals and networks
• Strong systems engineering and technical leadership experience
