Platform Security Engineer (NewSpace)

NewSpace Technical is partnering with an innovative NewSpace company to recruit a Platform Security Engineer for a confidential opportunity supporting advanced space technologies.

You’ll design, automate, and secure modern software delivery infrastructure, working closely with software, cloud, and platform teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure engineering environments.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cyber Security.
• Strong experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS or similar), and container technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or Helm.
• Strong understanding of secure software delivery, automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Experience with cloud governance, Python scripting, cybersecurity frameworks, compliance tooling, or regulated engineering environments is advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging NewSpace programmes within a collaborative engineering environment.
