Are you a Senior Power Systems Engineer looking to take full ownership of high-impact electrical systems in a next-generation clean energy platform?

On offer is the opportunity to design and develop the power systems behind a first-of-its-kind nuclear microreactor. You’ll be responsible for driving the development of safe, efficient, and scalable power generation and distribution architecture in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Your work will directly support the commercialization of compact, factory-built reactors capable of delivering clean electricity to remote and critical locations.

This role is ideal for a power systems expert ready to lead the development of MW-scale electrical systems, taking designs from concept through validation and deployment.

This position would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer with a deep understanding of power system architecture, safety analysis, and hands-on testing.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop power generation, distribution, and grounding systems for a compact microreactor.
* Perform trade-off analyses on performance, cost, and reliability across all electrical subsystems.
* Lead power system design activities including schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
* Conduct grounding, arc flash, harmonic, isolation, and EMI/EMC analysis.
* Support component selection, procurement, and integration with power electronics, motor, and control teams.
* Participate in factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and safety validation.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful system rollout.

Essential Skills and Experience
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems.
* 5+ years of experience in high-voltage equipment design, system integration, and maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of cable/conduit sizing, conductor selection, grounding, and protection devices.
* Experience performing detailed power system analysis including arc flash, harmonics, and short circuit studies.
* Proficiency in developing technical documentation for complex power systems.
