NewSpace Technical are searching for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer, to join our client pioneering AI and Geospatial Data. Following a successful funding round and an exciting new product to add to their portfolio, they are looking to hire a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to work beside their CTO and other senior team members.

They are a dynamic tight-knit team of highly technical individuals; therefore the team would love to have someone joining them who equally shares a similar passion for AI, latest tech advancements and multifaceted software engineering architecture!

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will building highly scalable applications flowing significant spatial datasets. You’ll be collaborating with their CTO and Head of Data Science to set up the infrastructure for proprietary Machine Learning models, and successfully execute structured data to process on their web application in real time.

Location: Remote, Europe
Employment: Long-Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable applications for processing and analyzing large datasets.
• Create and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data processing.
• Implement infrastructure to support proprietary machine learning models.
• Build high-performance APIs for seamless data access and real-time web applications.

Technical Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years commercial work experience as Software Engineer
• Data Engineering: Expertise in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and processing large datasets: BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Database & Computing: Strong knowledge of high-performance databases and distributed computing: AWS / GCP, PostGIS, Spatial SQL, GeoServer, PgRouting, GDAL/OGR, Shapely, GeoPandas,
• API Development: Proven experience in building scalable, high-performance fast APIs and managing authentication.
• Programming Languages: 5+ years Python Programming experience
• Frontend Frameworks: Experience with any frontend framework React /Angular/ Vue

Compensation:
