Are you a Senior HIL Engineer looking to own and develop cutting-edge validation systems at the core of a first-of-its-kind energy technology?

On offer is the opportunity to build a complete hardware-in-the-loop test platform that will help validate the electrical and software systems for new cutting edge hardware. You’ll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining a PXI-based test system that drives mission-critical hardware validation for a world’s first hardware of its kind.

This position would suit a hands-on engineer experienced in HIL environments and system integration who is eager to take full ownership of a foundational testing platform.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain a PXI-based HIL test system from the ground up.
* Build and configure hardware including power supplies, simulated actuators, and sensor networks.
* Develop interfaces to digital twin simulations and program communications.
* Own test hardware and harnessing schedules, vendor relationships, and system integration.
* Optimize test validation using automation frameworks and robotic execution tools.
* Support software and systems teams in hardware/software integration and test development.
* Troubleshoot electrical integration issues and support full system bring-up.
* Write clear documentation, test procedures, and present design reviews across teams.

Essential Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
* 5+ years of experience developing HIL systems (NI PXI, dSpace, Speedgoat, etc.).
* Proficiency with LabVIEW, TestStand, and scripting in Python, C++, or C#.
* Experience with DAQ systems, hardware debugging, and root cause analysis.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
* Hands-on experience building, configuring, and testing electrical integration systems.

Eligibility
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
