Senior Astrodynamics Engineer (NewSpace)

NewSpace Technical is partnering with an innovative NewSpace company to recruit a Senior Astrodynamics Engineer for a confidential opportunity working on advanced space technologies.

You’ll develop modelling, simulation, orbit analysis, and state estimation capabilities, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges across the full development lifecycle.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in astrodynamics, orbit determination, mission analysis, GNC, spacecraft dynamics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, estimation theory, and dynamic system modelling.
• Programming experience with Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with Kalman filtering, trajectory optimisation, mission design tools, scientific software development, or technical leadership is advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging NewSpace programmes within a collaborative engineering environment.
