Are you a software engineer who thrives at the intersection of tech and customer impact? This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to solve real-world problems in cutting-edge domains like aerospace, robotics, and advanced manufacturing, directly at the point of need.

We’re partnering with a fast-moving industrial tech company delivering operational software to some of the world’s most advanced engineering teams. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you’ll be embedded with customers, working side-by-side with them to understand their challenges, develop custom solutions, and ensure their systems run at peak efficiency.

This is a unique blend of full-stack engineering, systems thinking, and customer-facing execution. You’ll help build tools that power the design and manufacture of rockets, autonomous vehicles, and more, all while working closely with technical stakeholders across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with engineering and production teams to scope, design, and build high-impact software solutions
• Own the deployment and customization of operational software at customer sites
• Develop full-stack features and internal tools, primarily using Python and React
• Debug and resolve technical issues that impact real-time production systems
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate feedback into the broader platform roadmap
• Travel up to 40% to support on-site implementations and strategic accounts

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field
• Strong communicator, able to translate between technical needs and business goals
• Proven ability to deliver production-quality software across the stack
• Experience working directly with customers or in roles requiring cross-functional collaboration
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced, startup environments
