We are seeking a Senior Electronic Firmware Engineer to play a key role in shaping the embedded systems that power next-generation space technologies.

As a Senior Electronic Firmware Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in architecting and optimizing embedded firmware for payloads, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams from concept through to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and verification of VHDL-based firmware modules.
• Development and testing of C-based embedded software.
• Contribute to product verification campaigns and system integration.
• Support the development of digital and electro-optical subsystems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Required Experience:

• 8+ years in digital electronic and embedded firmware development.
• High-speed FPGA design using VHDL.
• Embedded C programming experience.
• Familiarity with high-reliability, high-speed design practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Microsemi (or similar) FPGAs.
• Scripting experience (Python or equivalent).
• Multi-layer PCB design exposure.
• Familiarity with environmental and acceptance testing standards.
• Knowledge of radiation effects in space electronics.
• Experience with electro-optical systems (CCD/CMOS).
• Familiarity with revision control and standard coding compliance.
• Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM tools.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-tech sectors.
